If you are looking for something natural that can liven up your skin, why don’t you try for some fruits? We are already aware of the health benefits of fruits but do you know that fruits are the best and cheapest way to make your complexion healthy and glowing. Fruits contain anti-oxidants, enzymes and micro-nutrients, which keep skin problems away.

Pamper your skin with a delicious fruit mask of honey and fruit pulp on a weekend. Take one fourth of apple and peeled orange with 7 grapes and 2-3 strawberries, add a spoon full of honey, and apply to your face, leaving for 20 minutes, before rinsing. The Alpha-hydroxy acids in fruits can help to wash away dead skin cells and honey works as a moisturiser that reduces wrinkles, while strawberries have a mild bleaching effect on the skin and help heal blemishes.

Try some papaya and pineapple mix to exfoliate your skin once in a week. Banana is an all- time available fruit. It contains vitamins A, B, C and E as well as potassium. It helps in smoothening and nourishing the skin. Mash half of the banana with required amount of honey and apply, leaving for 15 minutes for an instant glow. Fruit peels can also be used to rejuvenate your skin, such as orange and lemon. Their peels can be dried and powdered to make an easy face mask. Mix them with a few teaspoons of rose water, milk, or yogurt. Banana peel rubbed from the inside can help to fill up the wrinkles and fine lines.

So, don’t toss out your bruised or over-ripe fruits, or place them in your compost heap, use them up for a smooth, healthy, and toned skin.

Alternative, try Body Botanix Cranberry & Pomegranate Body Souffle. Cranberries are among the top superfoods, full of antioxidants, which protects cells from damage by unstable molecules called free radicals. Pomegranates are excellent for oily and combination skin. They are rich in AHA and act as an astringent and a toner.
