Job description:

We have an exciting opening at our offices based in Bree Street, Cape Town. We are looking for a competent individual who will join our team and become an integral part in our Finance Department.

The successful incumbent must be logical, pro-active, take initiative and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. You’ll need to be able to work within a team and individually, have a passion for the wellness brand, have strong attention to detail and be able to multi-task.

Competencies:

  • Completed a degree in Accounting (B.comm Accounting or Similar)
  • 3 to 5 years experience in the retail industry
  • Experienced with Excel (Pivot tables) and Pastel Evolution.
  • Dolfin experience would be highly advantageous
  • Above-average Analytical and numerical skills
  • Monthly accounting functions in the accounts department reporting to the Accountant.

Job description:

Wellness Warehouse is currently looking for a dynamic, experienced and skilled individual to join our Merchandising Team at our Support Office which is based at Kloof Street, Cape Town.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the function of buying and planning as well as responsible for data-entry, compiling of reports and data analysis.

Key requirements of the role:

As Merchandise Controller, you’re main responsibility will be to provide a solid administrative and support function to the Merchandise department and in particular, Foods.

Liaise with stores, suppliers and other departments to ensure correct stock levels are ordered and sent to stores in a timeous manner.

Ensure data on system pertaining to products within the food category is current and accurate.

Ability to collect, analyse, organise and critically evaluate information.

Create reports pertaining to category and feedback to relevant stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be brand ambassadors whilst experience with Dolfin will be highly advantageous.
  • Completed a relevant diploma / degree
  • 1/2 years’ experience in the retail industry or in an administrative focused role
  • Ability to work within a team as well as an individual
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of merchandise functions e.g. buying, supply chain
  • Computer literacy (Ms Office) and advanced experience in Excel (Pivot tables) is a strong desirable.
