5 Summer Smoothie Recipes

From raw cacao concoctions to maca marvel and supergreen salivation we offer the latest in taste love. Whip and blend your raw ingredients into taste-altering and energising combinations. We couldn't think of anyone better than Shonah Gallichan, former owner of Crush,to put together the best combinations for a decidedly delicious summer.

Ingredients

1. GREEN DREAM

**Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Oxidant

  • ½ pear ¾ cup pineapple
  • 1 small avocado 
  • ½ cucumber 
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice 
  • 1 stalk celery 
  • 1 cup spinach 
  • 1 thumb ginger, peeled 
  • ½ thumb fresh turmeric, peeled (or ¼ teaspoon dried) 
  • 1 tsp Spirulina 
  • 2 cups water 

2. MORINGA BERRY BLAST

**Slimmers Delight

  • 1 tsp Moringa 
  • 1 tsp Chia Seeds 
  • ¼ cup Blackberries 
  • ¼ cup Strawberries 
  • 1 cup Almond Milk 
  • 2 drops Stevia 

3. GREEN GODDESS

**All the good stuff!

  • 1 x Apple
  • 1 cup Spinach 
  • ½ Avo 
  • 1 whole peeled Lemon 
  • 1 Tbsp Superfoods - Green Super Shake Powder 

4. CACAO MACA

**A chia seed delight

  • 1 Tsp raw Cacao 
  • 1 Tsp Maca 
  • 1 Tsp Chia Seeds 
  • 1 Frozen Banana 
  • 4 x Dates 
  • 1 Cup Almond Milk 

5. CHOCO HEMP PROTEIN BOOSTER

**High-protein

  • 1 x Frozen Banana 
  • 1 Tbsp Hemp Seeds 
  • 1 tsp Cacao Nibs 
  • Almond Milk 
  • Ice
Method

1. Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.

2. Add more water if necessary until desired consistency is reached. Enjoy!

Remember: If you prefer your smoothies without too much pulp you may want to first juice all the fruit ingredients (Pear, Pineapple, Cucumber, Celery, Spinach, Ginger) and then blend with the remainder of the ingredients.
