THE REVOLUTIONARY B COMPLEX
Biomax® Activated VIT B.CO Liposomal® has been designed and developed with the latest scientific understanding of vitamin Bs and human health. Delivering a full and potent B-complex via specialised liposomal technology, this patented formulation is able to overcome the challenges of conventional vitamin B supplementation.
Quite simply, Biomax® Activated VIT B.CO Liposomal® is the next-generation innovation in vitamin B complex supplementation. It contains Quatrefolic®, a natural, concentrated form of folic acid (vitamin B9), which is a crucial nutrient for all humans. Naturally produced and easily absorbed, Quatrefolic® is regarded as the best supplemental form of folic acid. While others must be converted multiple times within your body before they can be utilised, Quatrefolic® delivers the bioactive form of folic acid, known as methyltetrahydrofolate (or 5-MTHF), which is ready to be used by your body without conversion.
Biomax® Activated VIT B.CO Liposomal® uses liposome entrapment technology to further enhance the product’s absorption and bioavailability. This innovative combination of clinically proven technologies facilitates a more effective dosage of high-quality folic acid, as well as the active forms of vitamins B1, B2, B6 and B12.
Failing to get enough Vitamin B on a daily basis can have a damaging impact on your body. Biomax® Activated VIT B.CO Liposomal® promotes cardiovascular health and homocysteine balance, which is critical for maintaining optimal methylation (a crucial physiological process that has far-ranging effects on the body). It is a pure, hypoallergenic and vegetarian-friendly B-complex formula, produced by world-leading experts under GMP conditions.
Folic acid vs folate
Folate and folic acid are essentially the same thing. The only difference is that folate is the food-based form of folic acid (with folic acid being a synthetic version). Folic acid is essential to your body because it helps stimulate the growth of new cells. Every person needs this form of vitamin B9, especially women who are pregnant (or trying to become pregnant).
Folate is critical for maintaining optimal methylation – the process your body undertakes when it applies a carbon atom and three hydrogen atoms (known as a methyl group) to a host of critical biological functions, including cognitive activity, DNA repair, gene expression, and the elimination of environmental toxins.
While folate is found naturally in foods such as fruits and dark, leafy vegetables, it can easily be destroyed by cooking or processing. Folate derived from food is typically a better option than supplemental folic acid, because it is more readily absorbed by your body (but not as well absorbed as Quatrefolic®).
Humans cannot synthesise folate and the body stores it to a limited extent. For this reason, folate represents a dietary requirement that must be consumed in some form. Whether we ingest food containing natural or synthetically derived folates, they are metabolised to 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF), which is considered the biologically active form of the B-vitamin folic acid.
Humans need to maintain an adequate dietary intake of folate during various stages of their lives. It plays an essential role in cell division and DNA synthesis, and is involved in human growth and development. Folate deficiency has far-reaching negative health consequences, and has been implicated in the etiology of a variety of disorders, including but not limited to neural tube defects (NTDs), anaemia, various forms of cardiovascular diseases, Alzheimer's disease and osteoporosis – all which have become pervasive health issues around the world in the 20th Century.
