Releaf Pharmaceuticals recently introduced Memrise to complement their growing range of supplements available at Wellness Warehouse. It contains a patent-pending formula combining French grape and blueberry extracts rich in essential polyphenols for cognitive function.
Statistics show that working memory can decline by five to ten percent every decade, starting from as early as one's twenties and showing the most dramatic decline after seventy.
Memrise has been clinically tested for both short- and long-term memory and learning, and has shown to...
- Promote learning and concentration, with up to 20% fewer errors made by test subjects
- Support brain function in active adults, with up to 60% more words recalled by test subjects
- Reduce age-related cognitive decline
I was given a pack of Memrise to try myself. I am on the sunny side of 57, weigh almost 90 kg, and work over ten hours a day, so wasn't expecting anything miraculous. However I can say that supplementing with Memrise did seem to make a difference while I was taking at least one capsule (sometimes two) a day for the recommended two-week loading phase, followed by one daily for maintenance thereafter. I noticed a slight improvement in my concentration during the time in which I was trialling it, and believe that the best results are yet to manifest after more sustained use.
Of course, as with all things, a well-considered general approach including adequte rest and balanced nutrition (amongst other healthy lifestyle choices) is imperative too.
