Lavender Latte

Drink this warm and calming latte in the evening for complete relaxation and rest. Chamomile and lavender flowers are both mildly sedative.

*2 cups of non-dairy milk of choice (rice or almond work well)

*1 TBS dried chamomile buds or two chamomile tea bags

*2 heaped teaspoons dried lavender buds

*1-2 teaspoons raw honey, Stevia or coconut nectar

*1/4 TSP pure vanilla extract (optional)


Warm milk in a saucepan to maximum heat without boiling. Add the chamomile and lavender buds. Allow to steep for 5-10 minutes. Once the buds have infused into the milk, use a tea strainer and pour into your cup. Add your chosen sweetener and vanilla extract. Sip heartily.
