As you know, fatigue, or feeling tired, is a very general condition and does require extensive testing to identify any sinister causes if improvements are not seen timeously with treatment. The sleep apnoea appears to be the main contributory factor for your fatigue but a detailed consultation would be required to confirm this. Not getting enough sleep is terribly detrimental to both your physical and mental health. A detailed case history would look carefully at your entire person, with particular attention to your sleep patterns in order to isolate the problem areas. We would ascertain if there is an element of insomnia, emotional factors such as stress or inability to switch thoughts off at night time, or lack of normal circadian rhythm, We would identify possible dietary and lifestyle corrections, such as stimulant use, alcohol intake, eating too late at night, or obesity. Common causes of sleep apnoea include obesity, high blood pressure and respiratory problems. I’m not sure whether you snore or not but the cause could be as simple as a chronic nasal or sinus infection. It sounds as though you’ve investigated many possible avenues of treatment without success so I would suggest individualised homoeopathic treatment, which will take into account all of the factors pertaining to your case, as well as herbal and supplement treatment if needed. Homoeopathic treatment aims to treat by addressing the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms, to restore your health and normal lifestyle.
