As you know, fibromyalgia causes general muscle fatigue and pain so muscle weakness could result in difficulty talking as well as impaired vision.
Fibromyalgia is incredibly frustrating as it is not completely understood by allopathic medicine. This is especially frustrating for the patient who experiences such extreme fatigue and pain, and has difficulty functioning.
I find that the best way to approach it is to make sure that the body is functioning at an optimal level through specific nutritional supplements, appropriate exercise, good sleep, as well as working through emotional triggers. I have had great results when exploring how the body mirrors our emotions, and healing the body through working with the emotions. Lastly, hypnotherapy can be a VERY effective tool for pain management if needed.
New research is also starting to shed light on factors that may lead to fibromyalgia. I am currently researching this so am unable to give details just yet. But I am feeling quite excited at the new ways of approaching healing fibromyalgia.
Is she in Cape Town? If she is, then I suggest making an appointment for a consultation with me. If not, let me know where she is based and I’m happy to help find an appropriate person to help her. My email is: firstname.lastname@example.org
