I would recommend that you do indeed visit your doctor to confirm the diagnosis as generally warts do look quite different to pimples, in terms of them having a more roughened appearance. It could be possible that what you have are blocked glands and that you may have incorrectly diagnosed your self. Genital warts are caused by the HPV virus and are common. They are quite common with a reported incidence of approximately 50%. Generally they should not cause you problems, but should they become uncomfortable or you are concerned regarding aesthetics, then you can have them treated with a gel or cream, or burnt with liquid nitrogen. They are sexually transmitted, so I would recommend that when you are sexually active that you use condoms. BUt my best advice would be to gte them checked out to save you unecessary stress.
