Description
The Juniper berry oil is steam distilled from the crushed berries of this shrub. Sometimes the oil is distilled from both the berry and twig but this affects the quality of the oil. Juniper berry is toning, diuretic and antiseptic, thus a useful detoxifying oil, benefiting the lymphatic system. It warms, calms and relaxes the mind, also recommended for nervous and intellectual fatigue.

JunIperus Communis Berry Oil.
Warnings
Do not use during pregnancy or on infants. Keep away from children. Do not take internally or apply undiluted to the skin.
Directions
Always dilute before use.
Massage: Dilute 5 drops in 10 ml carrier oil.
Bath and inhalation: 5-10 drops in hot water.
Store in a cool, dark place with the lid well sealed. If your fridge is the only cool place, allow the oils to reach a cool room temperature before use.

Activation stations, everybody!
The activation process involves soaking the nuts and seeds to stimulate the sprouting process, and then airdrying them at a low temperature. This process breaks down problematic compounds (called phytates) that would otherwise decrease the bioavailability of the nutrients in the nuts and seeds, meaning our bodies can more easily absorb all the available vitamins and minerals. Activation also ensures the nuts and seeds are gentler on the digestive tract.
