Super Green Spirulina Smoothie

Say hello to your new favourite breakfast - an easy, delicious, 5-ingredient green smoothie. 

  • 1 medium ripe banana (previously peeled and frozen)
  • 1/2 cup sliced cucumber (organic if possible, skin on)
  • 3/4 - 1 cup light coconut milk (or other non-dairy milk - less for a thicker smoothie, or more for a thinner version)
  • 1 cup spinach or chopped kale (organic if possible)
  • 1 tsp spirulina powder
  • 1 TBSP hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup frozen or fresh blueberries (organic if possible)
  • 1/4 cup granola
  1. Simply blend all the ingredients together, keeping some of the granola, blueberries and hemp seeds aside.
  2. Pour the blended smoothie mixture into your favourite tall glass. 
  3. Sprinkle the remaining granola, blueberries and hemp seeds on top.
