Take special care with A.VOGEL GINKGOFORCE :
If you have a sensitivity or intolerance to alcohol.
If you have an increased bleeding tendency (haemorrhagic diathesis) and also take anticoagulant (medicine that help prevent blood clots) and antiplatelet (medicine that stop cells in the blood (platelets) from sticking together and forming clots) treatment, A.VOGEL GINKGOFORCE should only be used after consultation with a doctor.
If you are having surgery, preparations containing Ginkgo biloba may increase your risk of bleeding. A.VOGEL GINKGOFORCE should be discontinued, as a precaution, 3 to 4 days prior to surgery.
If you have epilepsy, there is a possibility the use of Ginkgo biloba may promote seizures.
The use of A.VOGEL GINKGOFORCE with efavirenz (anti-HIV medicine) is not recommended.
Children and adolescents:
Do not give A.VOGEL GINKGOFORCE to children younger than 12 years.
In sensitive individuals A.VOGEL GINKGOFORCE (due to its alcohol content) may have an impact on daily activities such as learning ability, physical activities, or affect appetite or sleep patterns
Directions
Adults and children over 12 years:
Take 20 drops 3 times daily.
Do not use in children younger than 12 years.
Method of administration
For oral use only.
Take drops diluted in a small volume of water.
Take 30 minutes before meals.
