Care and Maintenance: Since the tealight holder is a salt crystal, it is hygroscopic i.e. it naturally attracts mloisture from the air. As a result, when not being used, the salt may get moist and leak or create pools of water. To prevent moisture from forming on or around the lamp, leave it switched on all the time. When not in use, cover the tealight holder with an airtight bag, so it is not exposed to the air. The lamps use energy efficient 15W globes, available at electrical shops or Universal Vision. To change the globe, switch the lamp off, remove the globe holder and replace the globe.
