Directions
1. Before cooking, rinse the black eye beans under cold water to remove any dirt or debris.
2. In a pot, add the rinsed beans and cover with water, using a ratio of about 3 cups of water for every 1 cup of beans.
3. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer and cover the pot.
4. Allow the beans to cook for about 45-60 minutes, or until they are tender. You may need to periodically check on the water level and add more if necessary.
5. Once the beans are cooked, you can season them as desired and use them in various recipes, such as soups, salads, or bean dips. Enjoy!
