Partners Dean and Antoinette founded MoonBean in December 2013. A deep love for each other, healthy food and a general dissatisfaction with soul draining office jobs turned MoonBean from concept into creation. MoonBean’s vision is to make the best tasting, most nutrient-dense snacks around that anyone can enjoy – no matter what your food preference or sensitivity. We would like to change the perception that healthy eating is time consuming and inconvenient, and restore it back to being something that is a pleasure to do, whatever your lifestyle. At MoonBean we use only uncooked plant-based foods in our products. Our products are considered to be raw, because we use a method of low temperature dehydration to produce them, meaning none of the ingredients are heated to above 46 degrees Celsius. Thus all the vital naturally occurring nutrients and enzymes are preserved. All MoonBean’s products are raw, gluten-free, dairy free, egg free and certain products are Vegan. Although our products are not certified organic, almost all the ingredients we use are certified as organic by their producers. For the ingredients that are unavailable as being organically farmed, we always source the very finest ingredients available to us. The nutritional information is currently unavailable for our products. In order to accurately determine nutritional facts the recipes would have to remain completely unchanging. As we strive to produce only the best tasting snacks around, we tweak and perfect our recipes over time.
